Love that you concentrate on the bulbs and the stems instead of the flower itself, that's very interesting and different... The contrast with the background is great too, brings out the fresh green... I wonder how the shot would have came out if you had framed it slightly lower, with a little dirt... But I guess that would have been a different idea...

The background is just a large blue paper from a bookshop, and because of being out of focus, it looks completely smooth.
